The EconToday Journal is a multi-school collaborative Journal which aims to give light into the economics world. With kids from around South India sharing their views and expressing their interests on the topic. We at Indus international school Hyderabad, want the youth to know the importance of Economics as a foundation to growth.

The EconToday journal will have monthly editions focusing on different themes, and is always open to new writers, feedback and more!

Our work
It is our pleasure to introduce the EconToday magazine. EconToday is not only a platform for students to dig deeper into economic topics and debates but also a platform that fosters every individual’s academic writing potential. Having writers from all over India, we are delighted to share with you the issues of the EconToday magazine and join all of you along our journey.

Issue #1

Having writers from all over India, we are delighted to put forth our very first issue of the EconToday magazine. The theme of this issue is scarcity. The magazine has three sections: Current Economics, Geographical Economics & Theme Economics, each of which gives depth to a different sector of economics. For this issue, we have writers across schools such as Chirec International School, The International School of Hyderabad, Indus International School, Bangalore, Oakridge Hyderabad, Oakridge Bangalore, P. Obul Reddy, and our very own Indus International School, Hyderabad. But we are only excited to get more students on board this platform.

Issue #2

This magazine is divided into three sections: Current Economics, Geographical Economics, and Theme Economics, each providing an in-depth look into various aspects of Economics. The theme for this issue is International Trade. EconToday not only wants to spread the magic of economics but instill a sense of how the subject covers the most important aspects of today's world. On that note, our feature article written by Anya Polasani showcases the economics behind the devastating disaster that occurred in Turkey. International School in Hyderabad. We are excited to welcome more students to our platform.

The theme of this issue is Market Failure. EconToday not only wants to spread the magic of economics but instill a sense of how the subject covers the most important and relevant aspects of today's world. On that note, our feature article written by Suhani Rampuria showcases the rise of a new empire "Financial Twitter "(FinTwit).

Welcome to the fourth issue of Econtoday. The theme of this issue is Economic Sustainability. The different articles follow the format of Current economics, Geographic based economics, and theme-based economics. With Satakshi Reddy describing Pakistan's economic crisis, and Anya Polasani taking us through the economics of wildfires, this is a must-read edition.
